The homeless and the working poor, essentially the disenfranchised in society were struggling for social justice before the COVID-19 pandemic. Self isolation and social distancing has exasperated their challenges. Out of crisis, let us rethink care for the disenfranchised and design positive long term programs inclusive for those marginalized. We are all children of God. We all hope for love, joy and peace in our lives. God has a powerful healing presence and mercy for all. Give us courage to be his disciples and let it reflect in our attitudes and actions, bringing the news of hope and healing. He is with us always. Be at peace, believe and be saved, to the glory of God. Amen.
