We all hunger for the word of God. Jesus blessed teachings, the beatitudes, from the sermon on the mount taught us to be just, merciful and humble. Lack of food, a thirst for knowledge, a craving for power and aspirations for success at all costs define many forms of hunger. There is a disconnect between hunger in our fast paced society and hunger for the word of God. We are often lost and confused. Bridge the disconnect and satisfy your appetite through communion this morning. We are all God's children. Follow Jesus footsteps and abide in his teachings, to the glory of God.

Amen.
