Climate change is yielding extreme weather events worldwide and can be scientifically traced to human excesses. This stressing of the environment is a bi-product of our unrelenting thirst for comfort over the decades. Catastrophic floods, hurricanes, wild fires and famines dominate the news cycle. The human cost is tragic. Craving for material gain has unleashed this climatic nightmare. Jesus said the cost of being His disciple was not to covet material gain but to comfort and support those in distress. Be His disciple today. Help those less fortunate and give from the heart. All to the glory of God.
