Historically leaders are meaured in their body of accomplishments. Today, feedback loops and muti-forms of communication allow leaders instant risk assessment of their policies, and they frequently react negatively to perceived threats to their leadership. Criticism suppressed leads to corruptuion. King Herod was mocked by the wisemen with the birth of Jesus and proclaimed “the slaying of all infant boys under two”. Jesus was born to be leader for all and promoted hope, peace, joy and love. Jesus accepted his critics and embraced them. Embrace Jesus and give freely as he has given his love unconditionally for all.
Amen.
